Jon did an amazing job. I texted him over the weekend and my home inspection was completed that Monday. He was incredibly thorough and the drone images help capture roof pictures that I will be showing the builder. As a first time home buyer he made me feel incredibly at ease with his expertise.

Jon at Pineland Inspections was outstanding from start to finish. He was incredibly patient, thorough, and easy to work with throughout the inspection process on our new construction home. He encouraged me to join him during the walkthrough and took the time to explain not just what he was finding, but how each system in the home works, what maintenance items I should be thinking about long term, and what issues were worth discussing with the builder.

What really stood out was his systems-based approach. Rather than just pointing out defects, he helped me understand the “why” behind everything — HVAC, hot water, insulation, roofing, irrigation, and more. I walked away feeling far more confident as a homeowner.

Jon also uses technology that many inspectors in the area simply don’t offer. He used thermal imaging to check for insulation gaps, air leaks, and verify HVAC and hot water system performance. He also used a drone to thoroughly inspect the roof and hard-to-reach areas, which gave me a much greater level of confidence in the inspection.

The irrigation inspection alone was extremely valuable. We uncovered multiple issues, and Jon went through the process carefully and multiple times to make sure nothing was missed.

His report was honestly the best home inspection report I’ve ever seen. Instead of just a static PDF, it was an interactive web-based report that made it incredibly easy to navigate, search, filter, and review annotated photos and detailed notes. The organization by priority was excellent, and it included simple tools to create and share repair lists directly with the builder or seller.

On top of all that, Jon was flexible with scheduling, accommodating, professional, and very fair with pricing considering the level of service provided. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing a great job and educating his clients.
